About Ify

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) with over 10 years of tutoring and mentoring experience, working with students from high school through graduate and professional programs. In addition to tutoring, I currently work in the pharmaceutical industry, where I apply science, critical thinking, and communication skills every day. I have experience helping students improve their academic performance, prepare for standardized tests, strengthen college and professional school applications, and build confidence in challenging subjects. I strive to create a supportive, professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and are empowered to reach their goals.

About the lesson

I believe the best learning happens when students understand why something works, not just how to memorize it. I tailor each lesson to the student's learning style, goals, and current level, whether they need help mastering a difficult concept, preparing for an exam, or building long-term confidence.

A typical lesson begins by identifying areas of difficulty and reviewing any questions the student has. From there, we work through concepts step by step using examples, practice problems, and real-world applications. I encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and explain concepts in their own words so they leave each session with a deeper understanding rather than just the right answer.

What sets me apart is my combination of over 10 years of tutoring experience, a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and experience mentoring students from high school through graduate and professional programs. Beyond subject knowledge, I help students develop study strategies, problem-solving skills, and confidence that will benefit them long after our lessons end.

I work with high school, college, graduate, and professional students across a variety of STEM subjects, as well as students seeking guidance with college admissions, personal statements, interview preparation, and career development. Whether you're looking for ongoing support or help with a specific goal, I strive to create a supportive, engaging learning environment where you can succeed.
