About Me

Hi! I’m Jannahliehsm, a 2nd-year Pharmacy student and a STEM graduate with a strong passion for mathematics and helping others learn. I’ve always enjoyed solving problems and breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. I know that math can be challenging for many students, and my goal is to make learning it fun, clear, and confidence-building.

I’m patient, supportive, and approachable, and I take pride in adapting my teaching style to each student’s needs. Whether a student is struggling with a topic or wants to get ahead, I’m here to guide them at a comfortable pace, ensuring they feel confident in their abilities.

Beyond academics, I enjoy STEM projects, problem-solving challenges, and creative ways of teaching, which I often bring into my lessons to make them engaging and interactive.

I look forward to helping students not only improve their math skills but also gain a genuine understanding and appreciation for the subject.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on helping students fully understand math concepts rather than just memorizing solutions. I believe that when students understand the reasoning behind a problem, they become more confident and independent in solving similar questions on their own. During my lessons, I explain topics step by step using simple examples, then guide students through practice problems until they feel comfortable solving them without assistance. I also help students review school lessons, complete homework, and prepare for quizzes or exams.

A typical lesson usually lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I usually start by reviewing the topic the student is currently studying in school, identifying areas they find difficult, and then working through examples and exercises together. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate so they can build strong problem-solving skills.

I am currently a 2nd-year Pharmacy student and a STEM graduate, with strong skills in mathematics, logical thinking, and analytical problem solving. This academic background helps me explain mathematical ideas clearly and in an organized way.

My lessons are suitable for primary and middle school students who need extra support in math, want to improve their grades, or want to strengthen their foundation in the subject.
