About Samuel

Instead of having only a teacher-student relationship, I prefer my students to see me as a friend who is not here to "teach" them knowledge but rather help them to understand the knowledge more by relating the materials to their daily life. I believe that students' comments on my lessons can show more about how much I love helping students understanding the concepts in different STEM subjects. About the lesson

Wondering how to memorize the tough biochemical reactions for your upcoming midterms? I can help! I graduated with a Ph.D. in pharmacology and toxicology and got my B.S. in biochemistry and molecular biology, both in University of California, Davis. I have previously assisted and helped numbers of students as being a teacher assistant for General Biology and Advanced Biochemistry, Enzyme Kinetics, and Pharmacology classes during my Ph.D years at UCD, where I have successfully passed my biology knowledge to students and have assisted them to understand more on the biology concepts.

After receiving my Ph.D degree, I have continued to assist and help students on their academic works via providing online private tutor services on various biology courses at different education levels for almost 2 years, where I received a very positive feedback from my students and they have all performed better in their academic courses. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese, and can provide tutoring in all three of the languages.
