About Mariyam

I'm not an academic, although i have been pursuing my interests over the years, and have tutored many of my relatives kids. Now i want to share my knowledge to you all out there .I truly believe that the only way humans have come so far in this world was by spreading our knowledge. By sharing what we know, we were able to collaborate and achieve great things as a species.I took it upon myself as an obligation, a responsibility, and a mission to share everything I know.

In return, what I received was more happiness than what self exaltation and glory could ever give me. I think there’s a reason why we like giving more than receiving. I think there’s a reason why we have sympathy and empathy for each other. I even think it goes beyond natural instinct and social skills.

I share what I’ve come to learn, in hopes that they will share it in the future to the person. This is my way, and maybe the only way, of showing gratitude to the people who have shown and taught me so much.

About the lesson

To be honest, I do not support all these classifications of teaching styles and methodologies. It is a lot of theory, but it has little to do with the real environment of a classroom, where always different personalities meet, and one has to work with students of all levels of abilities. I simply try my best with each student–that’s the definition of my teaching style. It may mean one thing in one lesson and a completely different one in another. I may give a complete freedom to some students, but lead others with an iron fist. But I prefer not using some empty classifications that have nothing to do with the actual challenges we face in classes.

Mariyam is a fantastic teacher! She is always available to organize a Hindi lesson, even at the last minute! The lessons are pleasant thanks to her method and her friendliness. Her method is very practical and stimulating, it allows you to practice and experience the real language (not that of many academic books!). I highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn the Hindi language!
