About Ransom
I am an employed pharmaceutical scientist, specifically doing analytical development at a pharmaceutical company in Atlanta. I graduated valedictorian of my class at UGA with my B.S., and then got my Master of Science in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences at UGA. I am a published author for medicinal chemistry papers in ChemistrySelect, and have a strong background in teaching many subjects within the STEM umbrella. Chemistry (Organic and Traditional), Biology, and Calculus (including pre-calc and algebra) are my most tutored subjects.

My teaching style involves applied learning, where students actively try to build their own knowledge, in addition to instruction. I specialize in college level courses, including AP, however I also have experience teaching high-school and middle-school students. I use real applicable examples, and try to guide students to a conceptual understanding, as opposed to just knowing how something is done.
