About Kleider

I am a Petroleum Engineer with experience in both field operations and research. Currently working as a Reservoir Engineer and EOR Laboratory Technician at Sonangol’s R&D Center, I combine technical expertise with a passion for teaching. My goal is to help students truly understand scientific and engineering principles through clear explanations, structured guidance, and practical problem-solving. I teach in English and Portuguese, adapting each lesson to the student’s level and objectives.

About the lesson

My teaching method:
I use a balanced combination of conceptual understanding and practical application. I believe that mastering scientific and engineering disciplines requires not only knowing the theory but also being able to apply it to real-world problems.
My lessons are interactive and tailored to each student’s goals, focusing on developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I often use real case studies, simulation exercises, and step-by-step problem-solving approaches to ensure that concepts are fully understood and retained.

My lesson plan:
1. Concept review (10–15 minutes): brief overview of key theoretical concepts relevant to the topic.
2. Applied examples (20–30 minutes): guided problem-solving session where we connect theory to practice.
3. Independent practice (20–30 minutes): the student applies learned concepts to new problems, with my feedback and correction.
4. Summary and Q&A (10 minutes): recap of key points and discussion of strategies for further study.

Depending on the student’s goals, lessons can include assignments, project guidance, or exam simulations.

What differentiates me:
With a background as a Petroleum Engineer and experience as Reservoir Engineer / EOR Laboratory Technician at Sonangol’s Research & Development Center, I bring a professional and industry-oriented perspective to teaching. My experience in both field operations (as a Mud Logger Offshore) and research environments allows me to connect theory to practical, real-world engineering challenges.
