About Dina

Over the past 10 years, I have taught pre-school, elementary, high school, university, and adult students. And, have had the pleasure of working with ESL and international students, professionals, siblings and family members, and those with mental and or physical (dis)abilities. However, I have a fantastic team that is available: (concealed information) Lesson Types: Fundamentals: The fundamentals class is aimed at improving reading, writing, and comprehension at every level. Our goal is to uncover areas of weakness and focus our attention on strengthening students' understanding of English concepts taught at school. The ‘Fundamentals Class’ is remarkable because the majority of students and parents see improvement in many other academic and non-academic areas. Homework Help: Exactly as it sounds, we will provide support to ensure your child finishes their homework so you don’t have to deal with it. If they don’t happen to have homework on a particular day or week, no problem: we will provide appropriate supplemental material. Conversational: This class is aimed at building vocabulary, improving pronunciation, and understanding. The goal is to provide students with the opportunity to develop communication skills and increase confidence needed to actively participate and share ideas inside and outside the classroom. Location: - Virtual Lessons on online platforms (ex.: Google Meet/ Zoom) We look forward to meeting and setting aside time to assess your child and create a personalized education plan to ensure their success. Please note that rates vary as follows: • Elementary Online - $50/ hour or prorated • High-school Online - $60/ hour or prorated • Cancellation Policy - To avoid a cancellation fee, please provide at least 24 hours notice, prior to your lesson. Further, cancellations (without reschedule) must be limited to one per month, per student. • Discounts - Invoices greater than $750/ month are eligible for a 5% discount. • Invoices are sent at the beginning of the month based on booked sessions. We accept e-transfer, EFT, PayPal, cheque, or cash (if in the Greater Vancouver Area). However, if you are more comfortable using an alternative method, we do our best to accommodate you.
