About Jorge
I am Jorge De la Cruz, guitar teacher and concert artist. Graduated from the National University of the Arts (UNA) with a specialization in guitar under the mentorship of maestro Javier Bravo. Studying the master's degree in classical and contemporary music at the Liceu Conservatory (Barcelona - Spain), under the guidance of maestro Guillem Pérez. I have more than 10 years of experience giving live concerts and personalized guitar, musical language and harmony lessons. I have teaken master classes with internationally recognized teachers such as Pablo Márquez, Jordi Mora, Eduardo Fernández, Paulo Inda, Daniel Wolf, among others. My commitment is to always stay active in the study of the instrument, I am currently doing a master's degree in Barcelona.
Winner of solo guitar and chamber music competitions. I have recorded with a duet project and album "Juryo" dedicated to original Latin American music for a guitar duo with "dúo Bordona", which is available on Spotify.
I have participated in the UNA contemporary music orchestra in the direction of Santiago Santero. Also given concerts as a soloist with orchestra, together with the Amadeus orchestra, under the direction of Alfredo Corral.

Face-to-face and online guitar classes, all levels, all styles. Learn and explore the guitar by playing the music you like the most from day one.
Guide the student in the process of artistic and musical discovery. Acquire the necessary knowledge to start your artistic project and the level to perform in groups with other musicians. Acquire all the technical tools to express yourself fluently with the instrument. Expand your musical knowledge, listening and discover various genres and artists. Enjoy playing with an ergonomic posture and efficient mechanics, based on Tai - Chi principles applied to the guitar. We will always work from body perception and the concept of active performance (adapted to the environment and linking music with the body and sensitivity). We work with active listening and phenomenology concepts in music.
More than 10 years of experience as a guitar, musical language and harmony teacher.
After classes you can always contact me for any questions or doubts. Classes are from one hour individual or groups. Understanding interpretation as a process of discovery, enjoyment and transmission. Online gatherings where each student can witness and share the music they are learning with other students.
