About Alisha
Hi, my name is Alisha. I have finished my exams and would now like to teach students the techniques I used to get the highest grades. I want to help students achieve their goals and be confident in English and maths whether that's reading, writing, or problematic equations! I have always loved English as I am a huge reader, modern or traditional novels. Also, I love maths because of the problem solving and because in the end there’s only ONE right answer. This is the motivation I have to want to teach students. I want to be the difference so that the student feels so much better about the subject.

My lessons are for ages 4-14-year-olds who need assistance in English literature, English language, reading, writing, maths, understanding equations, formulas, and more! The length of one lesson is 1-2 hours in which I would teach understandable methods and advice on what help is needed. Example- reading a book but understanding each word literally and metaphorically whilst confidently reading out loud. I have previously tutored students in English and Maths in which I got a 100% pass rate as I also achieved a grade A at GCSE level.
