I have been teaching Maths for over 10 years. specialising in secondary , primary and 11+ entry. I like to help students to understand the bigger picture and the minute detail need when studying exams. I have achieved great results for my students.

I use a range of techniques, mainly stemming from Maths Mastery and Shanghai techniques. Taking my pupils through concreate ,pictorial and abstract processes. I have experience with working in special need schools and have taught pupils with SEND regularly. This includes regularly teaching children like ADHD, Dyslexia , SEMH, ASD. As a Maths specialist, I have completed comprehensive training in Mathematics mastery, and have been a teacher and an advocate of this approach the last 3 years. Focussing on the concrete, pictorial and abstract, Pupils must be given every opportunity to explore, recognise patterns, hypothesise and be empowered to let problem solving take them on new and unfamiliar journeys.
