About Akshay

I am a passionate and dedicated math teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience, helping students build strong foundations and lasting confidence in mathematics. As a Computer Science graduate, I bring strong analytical thinking and logical problem-solving skills into every lesson, making complex concepts simple and easy to understand.

Math has always been more than just a subject for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy teaching. I focus on clarity, structure, and patience, ensuring that each student feels supported and motivated to improve. About the lesson

My lessons are structured, engaging, and fully personalized to each student’s needs.

I begin by assessing the student’s current level and identifying gaps in understanding. Each session includes a clear explanation of concepts, guided practice, and independent problem-solving to build confidence. I focus on strengthening fundamentals, improving logical thinking, and developing exam strategies, especially for SAT Math.

A typical lesson includes concept review, step-by-step examples, targeted practice questions, and a short recap to reinforce learning. I also provide regular feedback to track progress.

What sets me apart is my patient, supportive approach and ability to simplify complex topics into easy, understandable steps. I ensure students not only solve problems but truly understand the “why” behind them.

Lessons are designed for Grades 5–9 students and those preparing for the SAT.
