About Rosie
Chess became my primary focus not because it is simple, but because it is deceptively difficult to master. Having taught 399 students over 6 years of experience, I recognise that progress is rarely linear. My lessons are built on the reality that your mistakes are the most valuable data points you possess. I enjoy watching my students shift from hesitation to calculated, deliberate movement on the board.

Middle game planning often stalls when players lose sight of basic piece coordination. Calculation requires focus. My MSc Pure Mathematics background informs my methodical approach to teaching visualisation and pawn structures. We analyse your recording and notation to refine your opening repertoire and time management.
It is about playing better games. I look forward to working with you to strengthen your logical decision making.
