About Alessia

I started my fashion career in Italy where I completed my studies and then moved to London,10 years ago.
I began to move my way up to the fashion world working for independent designers and private clients, putting an accent on my hand-sewing skills.
My career took off once I started working for the well renowned couture house Ralph&Russo. This is where I had the chance to see how a Couture collection is created start to finish, as well as taking part of Paris Haute Couture shows several times.
I have been a seamstress for many celebrities like Angelina Jolie, Monica Bellucci and Victoria’s Secret supermodels, and I can also guide you on how to interact with clients and do fittings.
I continue today to work for other famous designers such as Halpern & Elie Saab, mastering my couture skills.

About the lesson

Have you always stared at couture looks on the runway and wondered how is it made? I’ll show show you!
Whether you want to boost your cutting and sewing knowledge, start from scratch or go through a specific topic I’m here to assist you.
Or you could choose a couture look you always dreamt of and I’ll guide you step by step from the sketch to the final garment and bring any of your designs to life learning the main couture techniques.
