About Alexandra
Hi. My name is Alex and I have just finished completing my A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and Music. I volunteer every week in the Girl Guiding community, where I help organise and run meetings for little girls aged 4-7. I am a friendly tutor who successfully received all 5 university offers. All of my 10 GCSEs were grades 7-9 and I adapt my teaching to every student. I hope to hear from you soon!

My teaching style involves lots of exam questions and not just doing steps, more about the thought process and the 'why?' instead of just memorisation. I have tutored friends of different levels before and they have gone up two levels in their Maths and Chemistry GCSE. I don't just read off of slides, I adapt my tutoring style with every student and make sure it is tailored to the individual. Typically the length of my lessons take up an hour.
