About Amahle

Hi, I’m Amahle.

I’m a passionate Maths and Physics tutor who believes that every student can improve with the right guidance and support.

I completed my Matric at an under-resourced high school and I’m proud to say I achieved top results in Science. I did it not because it was easy, but because I learned how to study smarter, ask questions, and break difficult problems into manageable steps. Those are the exact skills I now teach my students.

My goal is simple: to help you master the problem-solving methods I wish I had known earlier, so you can walk into exams with confidence and ace your grades. I won’t just give you answers. I’ll teach you how to think through Physics, Maths, Calculus and Algebra so it finally makes sense.

I’m patient, professional, and committed to your progress. In my lessons you can expect clear explanations, a safe space to make mistakes, and practical strategies that work in tests.

About the lesson

About My Lessons

●My approach & what makes me unique:
I teach the way I wish I was taught in high school. As a former top Matric Science achiever, I know exactly where students get stuck in Physics and Maths. My methodology is simple: understand first, memorise second. We break big problems into small steps, use real-life examples, and practise until the concept clicks. I’m patient, I don’t rush, and I create a judgement-free space where you can ask “basic” questions without feeling embarrassed.

●Who my lessons are for:
My lessons are aimed at High School students, specifically Grade 10, 11 and 12. Whether you’re failing, just passing, or aiming for a distinction, we’ll work at your pace. I also help students who are anxious about exams or have gaps from previous grades in Algebra and core Maths concepts.

●Types of lessons I offer:
1. Concept Building: We go back to fundamentals in Physics, Maths, Calculus & Algebra and build strong foundations.
2. Homework & Test Prep: We work through your schoolwork and past papers with exam techniques.
3. Exam Crash Sessions: Focused revision on key topics, formulas, and common mistakes before tests and finals.

●What to expect in a typical lesson:
We start with a quick check-in: What did you struggle with this week?
Then we tackle 1-2 topics using simple examples and diagrams. You’ll do the problems with my guidance, not just watch me.
We end with a short summary and 2-3 practice questions so you leave confident. My goal is for you to leave each lesson understanding more than when you arrived.

●Languages:
I am proficient and able to teach in English, isiXhosa, and isiZulu. We can mix languages to make sure the concepts are 100% clear.
