About Crisha
Originally from the Philippines, I spent 13 formative years there before moving with my family to Malaysia and eventually settling in Sydney, Australia. Growing up across different countries has helped me understand diverse learning styles, especially the challenges international and ESL students face. I taught myself English, so I know firsthand the effort and persistence it takes to succeed in a new language.
I currently work as an Assistant Accountant at Guzman y Gomez and as an English Tutor at Eigox, a Japanese online platform for students learning English. I teach students of all ages, including international and ESL learners, and specialise in preparing for IELTS, English exams, grammar checking, and speaking enunciation.
My lessons focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and improving their skills. I provide clear explanations, personalised guidance, and adapt each lesson to the student’s learning style. Typically, lessons run one to two hours depending on the student’s needs. Teaching is very rewarding for me because I enjoy helping students overcome challenges, gain confidence, and achieve their learning goals. I approach tutoring with patience, flexibility, and encouragement, and I find it incredibly fulfilling to see students make progress and succeed.

I use a personalised and flexible approach, adapting each lesson to the student’s learning style and goals. For English, I specialise in preparing students for IELTS and other exams, grammar checking, and improving speaking enunciation. I like to recommend books to international students that can help make learning English more enjoyable, and I conduct conversational tests to review performance and track progress.
I use practical examples, exercises, and real-life scenarios to make lessons relevant and engaging. Because I taught myself English, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and aim to make lessons supportive, patient, and motivating. Lessons typically run one to two hours depending on the student’s needs.
