About Nekoda

Hello! My name is Nekoda, and I am from Durban, South Africa. I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) degree at the University of South Africa (UNISA) because I have a genuine passion for teaching and helping others learn.

I have worked as a Teacher Assistant at two primary schools, where I gained valuable experience supporting learners, preparing lessons, and creating a positive classroom environment. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and adapting my teaching style to meet each student's unique needs.

I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and believe that learning English can create exciting opportunities for education, work, and travel. My goal is to help students feel confident using English in everyday life through engaging, supportive, and enjoyable lessons.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, listening to music, spending time with family and friends, and continuously learning new skills to become a better educator.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to be interactive, engaging, and tailored to your individual learning goals. Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate learner, or simply want to improve your conversational English, I will create a learning plan that suits your needs and pace.

In our lessons, we can focus on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and everyday English conversations. I encourage students to ask questions and practice as much as possible in a relaxed, supportive environment where making mistakes is seen as part of the learning process.

As a Bachelor of Education student with practical classroom experience, I understand that every learner is different. I use patience, encouragement, and clear explanations to help students build confidence and improve their English step by step.

My goal is to make every lesson enjoyable, productive, and motivating, so you leave each class feeling more confident than when you started. Together, we'll work towards your personal, academic, or professional English goals while making learning both effective and fun.
