About Ryan
Hi, I'm Ryan — I've just finished Year 13 with 8 grade 9s at IGCSE and 4 predicted A*s, and I'm taking a gap year with offers to study Medicine at Leicester and Southampton. I decided to start tutoring because I know how stressful GCSEs and A-Levels can feel, and I remember exactly which parts I struggled with and what finally made them click. I genuinely have a strong interest in the STEM area and I hope this passion can be passed on!

Having just completed my own A-Levels with 4 predicted A*s (building on 8 grade 9s at IGCSE), I know exactly what today's exam boards are looking for as I sat the same papers this year. My lessons focus on exam technique: working through past papers, breaking down mark schemes, and targeting the specific errors that lose marks. For A-Level students, I can share notes and resources I made for my own revision. Lessons typically run 1-2 hours and are tailored to GCSE and A-Level students
I also coach UCAT preparation and medical school application strategy, specifically QR and Situational Judgement, and personal statement guidance. Sessions are aimed at Year 11-13 students applying to medicine or dentistry, typically 1 hour, with practice materials tailored to each student's weak areas.
