About Mira
I’m a passionate reader and writer who loves fiction, science fiction, gothic themes, and romance.
I enjoy creating original stories from scratch, writing scripts for creative projects, and crafting detailed reviews of books and films. Writing and storytelling are skills I truly value, and I bring that enthusiasm into my tutoring.
I understand that what I enjoy isn’t for everyone, which is why my approach is centered on discovering what each student enjoys. Whether a student prefers fantasy, sports, real-world topics, or visual storytelling, I tailor lessons around their interests so reading and writing feel engaging rather than boring!
Too many kids hate to read -- I believe it's because they're given the LAMEST books to read in school!
So let's fix that ;)

My tutoring approach is engaging, structured, and tailored to each student’s age and learning style. I believe that when students enjoy reading and writing, their skills grow naturally, so my goal is to help learners build confidence and a genuine love for language.
For Pre-K and elementary students, lessons focus on phonics, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and early writing through interactive activities and stories. For middle and high school students, I teach essay writing, grammar, creative writing, and critical thinking, helping students express their ideas clearly and confidently.
Each lesson includes a brief warm-up, focused skill instruction, guided practice, and supportive feedback. I adapt lessons to match school curriculum needs while keeping sessions engaging and encouraging.
What sets me apart is my ability to make reading and writing feel approachable, enjoyable, and achievable. I support students from Pre-K through 12th grade, including those who need extra help, want to strengthen their skills, or wish to develop a lifelong appreciation for reading and writing! :D
