About Sarah
My name is Sarah and I have been studying English as a major with the option to become a teacher at Heidelberg University for almost 3 years. Since I had to have negative experiences again and again in my school days with regard to my teachers, the learning climate and other factors, I decided to change this for the coming generations of students. My desire to become a teacher has been confirmed throughout my long work as a tutor and it motivates me to further develop myself and my techniques. My friends and students always describe me as a kind, patient, and positive person; this is exactly what I try to convey in my lessons in order to build up the students' self-confidence and to make the learning environment as pleasant as possible.
My qualifications:
- Very good degree in English Abitur (Bavaria)
- CAE Level C1
- year 3 of BA degree from Heidelberg University
- Additional qualification German as a foreign language / German as a second language
