About Jeffrey

Hello! My name is Jeffrey Bermudez and I am a kind, patient and enthusiastic college student with a passion for math and helping others succeed academically.

I attended Diablo Valley College and Contra Costa College where I excelled in my classes by completing eight college level math classes: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, II and III, Business Statistics, and Linear Algebra with an A in all of my classes.

In addition to my scholastic achievements, I am also a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.

My interest in tutoring began when I would help my little cousin with her math homework. By doing this, I not only helped her to understand math better, I also found it to be deeply rewarding.

I have found that math can be very challenging at times, especially if one does not enjoy it.

When tutoring, I like to give the student a comfortable and welcoming environment to learn in.

Students learn at different paces, and I think it is important to be patient and explain to students in a way that they could understand.

Even though I am majoring in Spanish, math has become my great passion.

I believe that besides helping the student to excel in his or her math class, I can also help the student to feel confident and independent in math.

Hello there! My name is Jeffrey Bermudez and I am a hardworking college student with a passion for mathematics and education! I am currently attending Diablo Valley College and Contra Costa College, taking eight math classes within my community college journey, such as: Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Precalculus, Calculus I, II, and III, Business Statistics, and Linear Algebra, and I've earned an A in ALL of my courses!
