About Thomas
Hey, I'm Thomas Tierney! I'm a Canadian pre-med student who absolutely loves helping people figure out math without the headache. I know firsthand how overwhelming high school algebra and geometry can feel when a teacher explains it too fast. That is why I started tutoring—to break those scary-looking formulas down into simple, everyday language that actually makes sense. When I’m not studying for my own science and medical entrance exams, you can usually find me practicing my Italian, listening to music, or hanging out with friends. I am super patient, easy to talk to, and my main goal is to make sure you leave our sessions feeling confident and ready to crush your next test. Can't wait to meet you and work together!

What we will do together
Focus on your stuff: We will look straight at your actual homework, assignments, or upcoming tests. We will only work on the specific things that are confusing you right now.Solve it step-by-step: I won't just shout answers at you. We will use a shared online whiteboard to scratch out problems together until you completely get how it works.Beat test anxiety: We will practice real exam questions so you can learn how to manage your time and stop making those annoying, sloppy math mistakes.Completely stress-free: There are zero stupid questions in my class. You can ask me to explain something ten times if you need to. I am super patient
