About Beth
I worked with a tutoring company named Test Smart very recently until COVID-19 caused the business to shut down. As a tutor for Test Smart, I worked remotely with middle and high school students to aid them in bettering their standardized test scores. I have experience in SSAT, SAT, and ACT preparation. I used practice workbooks and online course materials provided by the company to teach the students I had contracts with.
My personal best SAT Score: 1430; ACT: 31. These were the scores that got me accepted into the Ivy-League Institution: Dartmouth College! I also have experience with the Math 1 & 2, Chemistry, and Biology SAT subject tests.

I prefer more of a hands-on experience when it comes to learning. I prefer the use of workbooks and/or online course materials to give students real-time practice. I also give relatively short homework assignments that my students are asked to perform on their own time. In class, I review the homework assigned from the previous session. I ask that my students come in with a new topic each week that they've been having some difficulty with.
