About Sami
A patient and caring teacher for Science, Maths and English. I'm a current graduate-entry medical student with a degree in medical biochemistry, four years of clinical experience in the NHS and a masters in clinical neuroscience.

Since graduating with a 1st class honours in Medical Biochemistry, I went on to gain four years' employment as a clinical scientist working in the NHS while also completing a Masters in clinical neuroscience. I then decided on a career change and am currently a graduate-entry medical student at the University of Birmingham. I scored highly on the UKCAT and I have a lifelong passion for science, English and maths. I can therefore provide help with university applications, medical school admissions and careers advice, alongside extensive teaching experience.
Throughout my life, I have learned from a great variety of teachers - some excellent, others less so. I have strived to identify and combine the most effective methods in my own teaching, with an emphasis on breaking complex ideas down to simple, logical roots.

I am a Consultant Cardiologist and I was Sami's clinical tutor and teacher during his third-year semester at Russells Hall Hospital. Sami is a very personable young man, with excellent communication skills, good knowledge in a wide variety of subjects pertaining to medicine, a calm demeanour and a mature attitude to learning.
