About Jaz
As a 19-year-old student, I have always had a passion for numbers and teaching. From a young age, I enjoyed exploring maths concepts and sharing that enthusiasm with others, which naturally led me to tutoring. Over the past three years, I've had the pleasure of helping students understand and appreciate maths, making what can be a challenging subject more accessible and fun. On a lighter note, I've been playing the saxophone for five years! It’s a fun hobby that adds a bit of creativity to my life. Balancing my love for music and maths keeps things interesting, and I aim to bring that same energy to my tutoring sessions!

As a passionate tutor with three years of experience in private tutoring and at a learning centre, I offer engaging 1 to 2-hour lessons tailored to students from reception to GCSE. My teaching methodology emphasises understanding over memorisation, using interactive activities, real-world examples, and a variety of visual aids to cater to different learning styles. With a strong foundation in mathematics as an Accounting and Finance student, I focus on building confidence, fostering a love for maths, and equipping my students with the skills they need to excel academically. Whether addressing challenges or enhancing skills, my goal is to create a supportive environment that inspires growth and enthusiasm for learning.
