About Aalia
I have been a private tutor for the last 3 years after graduating from the University of Oxford with a 1st in Anthropology. I have taught subjects including English, Maths, Science, Spanish and Philosophy, to students aged 3-18. I have coached over 20 students for their exams, including primary entrance exams, 7+, 11+, GCSEs and A levels. Every one of my students has improved by at least 2 grade boundaries, and fostered a real love for their subject. I'm very passionate about education and find tutoring incredibly rewarding. My style generally involves covering the syllabus module by module, honing in on those subjects the student knows they find difficult, and focusing on these areas. I also spend a lot of time focusing on past exam papers, so the child knows what level they need to be working towards.
