About Abdul-Aziz
I am a person of many skills and interests with a wide range of experience in different subjects. I studied Systems Engineering in college which required taking lots of math and science courses, all of which I managed to excel in. I also have a graduate degree in Cognitive Science and have worked professionally in the technology space as well where I have had to apply many of the theoretical concepts I have learned in a practical and hands-on manner. With such diversified interests, therefore, I am able to situate learning in ways that make sense to the learner and assist them on their educational journey :)

I adopt a collaborative approach with an engaging teaching and learning experience for all involved. I am extremely patient, thorough, and clear in how I explain complex concepts in a way that is digestible. I have both an engineering degree as well as an education degree which sets me apart from other tutors as I have both the content and pedagogical knowledge. I enjoy working with students of all levels, especially middle school, high school, or college level.
