About Sunny

I have 600+ hours of experience in 1 on 1 tutoring for many subjects from grades 9-12. I have also spent two years as a Physics lecturer at my school. In addition, my online courses in AP Chemistry and SCH4U/E have reached over 1000+ students on both my personal tutoring website and Udemy.

Side Note: I am a senior student at Richmond Hill High School, so if you're studying at RHHS and want a more specialized learning geared towards getting high grades and tackling assignments, I am eager to be of assistance.

About the lesson

My ideology is simple: to practice and to master. I believe a student has fully learned a concept when they can connect it with other ideas, apply that knowledge to various challenging problems, and never forget what they've learned for the rest of their academic career.

I know for students that are being tutored, having a tutor that can quickly identify gaps in their knowledge is crucial. More importantly, the tutor must fill that gap in knowledge in such a clear and concise way that the student fully understands the concept that is being taught. The tutor must be able to quickly pick up on the student's learning pace and style and their academic goals. That is why for each of my students, I personalize my teaching approach and emphasize the importance of practice and problem solving.
