Hi, I’m Zahra, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor currently studying a Bachelor of Education at La Trobe University. As a future teacher, I’m committed to making learning meaningful and tailored to each student’s needs. I specialize in math and science for Years 2 to 10, and I’m passionate about helping students gain real understanding and not just memorize content. What sets me apart is my focus on building confidence, not just improving grades. I take the time to understand how each student learns best and adapt my teaching style to suit them. Hi! I'm Zahra, a first-year Bachelor of Education student at La Trobe University. I'm passionate about helping students not just learn but understand, especially in math and science. I love that moment when things finally click, and I aim to help every student reach that point in a way that makes sense to them. My tutoring approach is flexible, patient, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I break down complex ideas, use real-life examples, and create a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s where real learning happens. Lessons typically run between 60 to 120 minutes, depending on what works best for the student and their goals. I offer tutoring for: Students in Years 2 to 10 Math and science subjects In-person sessions in Melbourne’s northern suburbs, or online sessions anywhere Whether your child needs extra support, confidence-building, or extension work, I’m here to guide them with personalized, engaging lessons that make learning feel achievable.
