About Iona
I'm a student who's just finished my A Level exams, so I understand the stress of school life, and I want to make it easier for you. I love writing, and I think that I can help you feel the same way - and even if you come out the other end still hating English, at least I can help improve your grades!
In my spare time, I sing, play the guitar, and read - I'm making my way through Terry Pratchett's Discworld right now, which I'm loving!

I'm a Year 13 student with an offer to study Psychology and Linguistics at the University of Oxford this Autumn. I've always enjoyed writing essays, and over the years I've built up a set of skills that have helped me to succeed. I hope to pass on these skills to you - they're invaluable for A Level and GCSE exams, as well as everyday life. I provide online lessons over Zoom, using tailored resources for each individual student.
I'm predicted 3 A*s in my A Levels, in Maths, Spanish, and English Language, and achieved all 8s and 9s (A* equivalent) at GCSE. I scored a 78.8 on the Oxford Thinking Skills assessment, and I also won the Newnham Essay Competition for Psychological and Behavioural Sciences in 2021.
