About Tahlia
I am a passionate nursing student with over 8 years of professional volunteer experience in the provision of emergency response care. Prior to changing my studies to nursing, I undertook a Bachelor of Biomedicine for 18 months at Deakin University.
Post-secondary subjects I have studied over the years include: basic and advanced chemistry, biology, ecology, cells and genes, statistics, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, medication administration and management, mental health, infection control, medical terminology, and more. Due to my volunteer experience, I have also undertaken additional training in the delivery of first response care.
I have decided to take part in tutoring as being a student myself, I understand some areas of study can be challenging, especially when the delivery of education is currently limited due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. I aspire to help others develop the knowledge required to assist them in augmenting their learning potential, helping them in any future endeavours.

I offer tutoring to people of all ages who may be struggling with learning particular subjects related to the science and healthcare industries. I like to adapt my tutoring techniques to each individual in order to maximise learning opportunities.
I am a firm believer that everyone learns differently, and wish to only take on a small number of clients to ensure the delivery of professional and efficient tutoring tailored to each individual.
