Hi, I'm Marcos, a recently graduated high school student about to begin my first year in Nursing! I offer tutoring in math and science for students in grades 1 to 8. My approach is supportive, patient, and tailored to each student's learning style.
Each lesson starts with a quick review of past material to reinforce memory. Then, we move into the current topic, working through key concepts and sample questions together. I ask guiding questions to keep students engaged, and we end with practice problems and a brief recap. I also provide tips on how to study effectively and manage time.
As someone who just recently completed high school, I understand how overwhelming coursework and exams can feel. I relate to students and explain concepts in ways that actually make sense to them—not just textbook definitions. I also bring a fresh perspective and lots of encouragement to help them feel capable and motivated.
