About Maddie
My guitar teacher growing up is who I really have to thank for me falling in love with the instrument. He inspired me not just in technique and ability but confidence. This is something I want to pass on - from actually wanting to practice and play is where progress is really seen.

I have taken the ARBSM Grades up to Grade 5, but play now more for pleasure through performing and writing. I taught both my younger siblings how to play - I am patient, kind and clear in my explanation. I play both left and right handed, having learnt originally on the left and then taught myself on the right. Lessons perfect for beginners who are keen to learn or perfect the basics, but can also teach theory as well as fingerpicking styles and technique. The typical length of a lesson required to really make progress is 45 minutes to one hour.
