About Matteo
I was very young when I started my musical journey.
At the age of fourteen I wrote my first original song and inspired by the many artists I loved I started my own band, a pop rock project from my hometown in Italy.
Once I finished my A-levels, I moved to London to start my music degree at The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance (University of East London) where I graduated in Guitar, Music and Performance, developing very useful skills such as music theory, music technology, music production, aural perception, music composition, technique and sight reading along with improving my Guitar, stylistic technique and songwriting.
Among the genres I focused on there are: blues, rock, funk, disco and pop.
My goal as a Guitar tutor is to create a stress- free environment where my students can feel comfortable and confident while having fun.
Together we can work out the right way and pace to improve your guitar, songwriting and performing skills based on your necessities and your level of knowledge.
