About Ashley
I am Ashley Varghese, a dedicated MSc Microbology from Kerala. With a strong academic foundation and a genuine passion for teaching, I aim to make biology and microbiology easier to understand and more interesting for students. My goal is to help learners build strong concepts, improve their confidence, and perform better in exams—whether they’re school students, college learners, or competitive exam aspirants. My Teaching Approach As a fresh MSc Microbiology graduate, I combine academic knowledge with a passion for teaching. I believe in simplifying complex biological concepts using real-life examples, visuals, and interactive discussions to help students truly understand the subject rather than just memorize it. Teaching Techniques and Methods I follow a concept-first approach—building strong fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. Use of flowcharts, mnemonics, diagrams, and PowerPoint slides to aid visual learning. Conduct quick quizzes and regular revisions to ensure long-term retention. Encourage questions and two-way interaction during every class. Usual Structure of a Class Quick recap of the previous lesson (5 minutes) Core topic explanation with notes and diagrams (30–40 minutes) Doubt clearing and quiz/discussion (10–15 minutes) Assignments/home practice tips at the end Special Features as a Teacher Patient and approachable—comfortable with beginners and slow learners. Provide custom notes, exam tips, and help with assignments. Classes can be in English or Malayalam, based on student comfort. Who the Classes Are For School students (Class 8–12): CBSE, ICSE, and Kerala State Syllabus College-level students: BSc Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology NEET/Biology entrance exam aspirants
