My teaching style is student-focused, adaptive, and results-driven. I begin by identifying each student's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. I break complex topics into simple, logical steps and use real-life examples to make abstract concepts easier to understand. I also integrate exam strategies and past paper practice into lessons to build both understanding and confidence. I use a mix of guided problem-solving, clear explanations, and active recall techniques to reinforce learning. My goal is not just to help students pass, but to truly understand maths and feel empowered by it. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for students preparing for exams or needing more in-depth support. I hold an Engineering degree and have over 6 years of experience tutoring GCSE and A-Level Maths. I've helped students of all ability levels — from those aiming for top grades to those needing help catching up. Lessons are suitable for secondary school and sixth-form students, typically aged 13 to 18, but I’m happy to work with adult learners or younger students who are ready for higher-level content. Whether you're preparing for exams, struggling with the basics, or aiming to excel, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals.
