About Louis
I studied for A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and an AS in Computer Science for at King's College London Maths School and am now a second year maths undergraduate at the university of Warwick. I am predicted to achieve 3 A*, received an A in AS CompSci and obtained 10 A* at GCSE.
I have previous experience teaching GCSE Maths from tutoring a year 10 and year 7 student as well as volunteering to tutor fellow students at my secondary school.

I can tutor students maths at GCSE, A Level or below, as well as GCSE Computer Science (if Python is used). I draw on my experience as a student to instil confidence and identify weaknesses to focus on in targeted sessions. Maths is not a spectator sport and as such a significant part of the lesson would involve working through suitably challenging problems I select. It is by getting stuck and responding to hints that the student will make progress. I am not here to give answers but rather develop the skills necessary to solve exam-style questions - the sessions will be challenging but rewarding.
It is my aim that tutees make up on lost ground due to COVID-19 in confident place for next year and hopefully a renewed enthusiasm for this great subject!
