About Taya

I’m a dedicated Math tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students build confidence and clarity in their learning. I hold a BSc in Mathematics for Data Science, which has shaped my structured and logical approach to teaching. I specialize in working with middle school students who often feel stuck with algebra. Many of my students come to me feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to start. I make it my goal to change that from the very first session.

My focus is on foundational topics like linear equations, polynomial expressions, and basic functions. These concepts can feel confusing, but I break them down into simple, manageable steps. I guide students carefully through each stage so nothing feels rushed or unclear. I also encourage questions at every step. Understanding builds gradually, and I make sure no gaps are left behind.

To keep lessons engaging, I use fun puzzles and interactive challenges that spark curiosity. I also bring in real-life examples to show how algebra connects to everyday situations.
