About Enoka

Hello, I’m Enoka—a committed and approachable math tutor based in Perth. I hold both a Bachelor and Master of Laws, and currently work as a Project Officer at the Department of Health WA. My academic journey has equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, which I bring into every lesson I teach. I’ve been tutoring math since 2018, working with students from Year 6 to A-Level across different curricula, including the Sri Lankan syllabus and UK GCSE/Advanced Level. My experience spans both in-person and online tutoring, and I’ve helped students improve their confidence, grades, and overall enjoyment of math. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts at their own pace. My lessons are structured, interactive, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. About the lesson

As a passionate and experienced math tutor, I tailor each lesson to suit the individual needs of my students. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and focused on building a strong understanding of core concepts. I simplify complex ideas with step-by-step explanations and examples, helping students feel confident and capable. Lessons typically run for 60 minutes, but I’m flexible depending on the student’s needs. I use a mix of interactive problem-solving and practice questions to reinforce learning. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and work through challenges at their own pace. With over 7 years of tutoring experience, I’ve taught students from Year 6 to A-Level, including those following the Sri Lankan and UK curricula. My background in law (Bachelor and Master of Laws) has strengthened my analytical thinking, which I bring into my teaching. Whether you're struggling with the basics or preparing for exams, my lessons are designed to support students of all levels and ages in a warm and encouraging environment.

Enoka taught them under the British curriculum and i couldn’t have found a nicer, more patient tutor.
