About Sari

Hello — I’m Sary, a first-year Bachelor’s student in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Pavia. I graduated high school with full grades in mathematics and physics and scored 780/800 on the SAT Math, and I have three years of teaching experience (high-school tutoring plus SAT and admission exam coaching since 2024). As a current student, I understand how learners think and use proven, repeatable techniques to make concepts clear, memorable, and exam-ready. About the lesson

Teaching method & techniques:
-Student-first diagnostics: I start by learning how you think — strengths, gaps, and exam goals.
-Concept-first explanation: Break problems into core ideas (why it works), not only steps (how to do it).
-Active techniques that stick: analogies, visual concept-maps, stepwise problem decomposition, and targeted shortcuts for exam questions.
-Memory by design: small spaced practice, quick retrieval drills, and mixed-problem review so ideas stay with you.
-Exam-smart practice: for SAT and admissions, I teach common patterns and timing strategies, not just solutions.
-Adaptable pacing: I speed up or slow down based on the student’s progress and comfort.

Typical lesson plan (flexible — always tailored to the student):
-5–10 min — Warm-up & diagnostic: quick questions to see recent progress and trouble spots.
-10–15 min — Clear concept explanation: one focused topic with a visual or analogy.
-15–20 min — Guided practice: work through varied problems together, step-by-step.
-5–10 min — Independent practice + feedback: short exercise to check understanding.
-Wrap-up & homework: concise goals and one or two targeted practice tasks to reinforce the lesson.
