Passionate GCSE Maths Tutor Maths teacher at Lewes - Ben - Lewes

Ben has worked at our school since January 2019 and has already proven himself to be an excellent addition to the team. He is skilled at engaging pupils and in providing excellent 1:1 and small group sessions to support pupils as required. His last school recommended him highly to us also. We have found Ben to be completely trustworthy and reliable and he has not been subject to any disciplinary action whilst employed by us.

Ben was a GCSE Tutor for Worcestershire County Council, working with students who needed to resit GCSE maths. He had a flair for making the subject accessible to his learners, using varied approaches which offered them various ways in which to develop their understanding. He was also highly approachable and developed a great rapport with his students, recognising not only their subject needs but also how to overcome mental barriers which were sometimes blocking their progress.
