About Nicolas
I grew up in California but my mother spoke French to my siblings and me. When I was 10 years old I moved to Switzerland where everything was in French. I could speak it but in order to succeed in school I had to learn to read and write it very quickly. Because of this experience I am very suited to helping other English speakers learn French through their similarities and differences, which I have done with over 3 years of French tutoring.

My biggest priority in lessons is student engagement. I don't mind repeating a concept with different analogies until they stick. I'm also a firm believer that humor is a great tool to keep engagement and help remember what could be a "boring topic".
