About Nataly Z
I hold K-8 certification in 2 states and have taught as a classroom teacher in middle school. Currently, I am a tenured university professor in an education department. I teach pre-service teachers how to teach mathematics. I am also a researcher (I have written 3 published books on this subject) who understands the best practices for teaching mathematics and can help any child master and love this wonderful subject!

Certified K-8 teacher with 2 decades of experience. I teach teachers how to create and deliver inquiry-based engaging mathematics lessons. I am also a researcher/scholar with expertise in how children learn mathematics. It is all about perseverance, disposition, and teaching mathematics for conceptual understanding as well as procedural fluency. Mathematics should not be feared or thought of as a sterile meaningless subject. Rather, mathematics is more related to nature and art and should be learned in a fun, yet cognitively-informed manner. Trust me, mathematics can be learned fluently by everyone! You just need the right teacher!
