About Me Hello! My name is Sherry, and I’m passionate about helping young learners grow in their English skills with confidence and joy. I specialize in tutoring children from kindergarten to Grade 5 and focus on making each lesson interactive, engaging, and tailored to your child’s needs. With a Master’s degree in Pharmacy and a background in science and communication, I bring clarity, patience, and structure to every lesson. I believe that learning should be enjoyable, encouraging, and built on a foundation of trust. Whether your child is learning English as a second language or just needs extra support, I’m here to help them thrive. About the lesson

My Teaching Approach As a passionate and patient tutor, I specialize in teaching English to children from kindergarten to Grade 5. My lessons are engaging, creative, and designed to make learning fun while building strong foundational skills in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension. Methodology and Techniques I use a combination of phonics, storytelling, interactive games, and visual aids to help children stay focused and motivated. I adapt my teaching style based on each child’s needs, learning speed, and confidence level. Positive reinforcement and encouragement are at the heart of every session. A Typical Lesson Plan Warm-up activity (word games or fun question of the day) Main lesson (focused on grammar, vocabulary, or reading comprehension) Practice (worksheets, writing prompts, or short reading passages) Review and feedback Quick recap with a fun quiz or storytelling What Sets Me Apart I have a strong ability to connect with children and make them feel comfortable and encouraged. I bring creativity into every session and genuinely care about my students’ progress. I also hold a Master’s in Pharmacy and have experience explaining concepts clearly and patiently.
