About Marvin
I am a graduate of Master of Science in Education majoring in Reading, Language, and Literature. I have taught English for 6 years in the Philippines, 3rd Grades for years at Sanders Elementary School here in Arizona, and English 9 & 10 for 3 years. All in all, I have been teaching for 11 years. I am certified both in Arizona and New Mexico with English and SEI (Structured English Immersion). I hold a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate. As an educator, I am a strong advocate of youth mental health and consistently integrate SEL (Social Emotional Learning) practices in my teaching to create a safe and friendly environment for my students.

Hey there! My name is Marvin, and I am an English teacher. I love learning and teaching at the same time. In my teaching, I use music and Greek mythology to make our lessons fun and engaging. I have 11 years of experience teaching in the Philippines and the United States.
I use Project-Based Learning, mythology, and music to improve your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. I also have a Master of Science in Education degree, majoring in Reading, Language, and Literature.
