About Camera
I am a native of Baton Rouge, LA, I am the youngest of 3, and I am an avid concert goer. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics with concentration in Actuarial Science from the University of New Orleans. Upon graduating undergrad I discovered my passion for teaching and my passion for impacting the youth. Furthermore, I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. This is currently my 5th year teaching 9th grade Algebra 1.

My teaching approach is similar to a gradual release approach. My method is to facilitate the learning, while the students collaborate and do the heavy lifting. I model where necessary and push their thinking with probing, rigorous questions. Follow up with rigorous practice, constant checks for understandings, and provide various forms of feedback.
