I am Nguyen, a Biology Science student, with a special interest in mathematics and science. I am a persistent, responsible person and always willing to help others. During my studies, I often help my classmates understand the lessons, especially math subjects, and that helps me realize that I really like sharing knowledge. As a Biology Science student with a strong foundation in mathematics, I approach tutoring by breaking complex concepts into clear, manageable steps. My teaching method is centered around patience, real-world examples, and building a deep understanding rather than memorization. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right guidance and encouragement.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of prior material, followed by an explanation of new concepts using visual aids or real-life applications. We then solve practice problems together, gradually increasing difficulty to build confidence. I always encourage questions and tailor each session to the student's pace and learning style.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to explain abstract math ideas in simple, relatable terms—something I’ve learned to do well through my science background. I also create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
My lessons are ideal for high school and early college students taking Pre-Calculus or Calculus, especially those who may be struggling or feel intimidated by math.
