About Tejas
Hello! I'm Tejas, a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Trent University. During my degree, I developed a deep understanding of complex concepts in calculus, linear algebra, mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, and more—while building strong analytical and problem-solving skills that I now love passing on to others. What drives me as a tutor is seeing students gain real confidence in subjects that once felt overwhelming. I genuinely enjoy breaking down difficult ideas into clear, manageable steps and celebrating every "aha!" moment along the way. I'm professional, reliable, and fully committed to your success: lessons are always carefully prepared, I arrive on time (or log in early for online sessions), and I respond quickly to messages. Many students and parents choose me because they know they can count on consistent support and noticeable progress. Whether you're preparing for exams, catching up on challenging topics, or aiming for top grades, I'm here to help you reach your goals in a supportive and encouraging environment. Feel free to get in touch—I'm happy to answer any questions and offer a short, no-obligation introductory chat (free) so we can discuss how I can best support you. Looking forward to working together!

My teaching approach:
- As a recent Mathematics and Physics graduate from Trent University, I bring a deep understanding of the subjects combined with a genuine passion for helping students succeed. My goal is not just to help you pass exams, but to help you truly understand the material so you can apply it confidently and independently.
Teaching methodology and techniques:
- I adapt my teaching to each student’s individual needs and learning style. I use a mix of clear explanations, visual aids (diagrams, graphs, simulations), real-world examples, and step-by-step problem-solving. I encourage active learning: instead of simply giving answers, I guide students to discover solutions themselves through targeted questions and structured practice. I also break down complex topics into manageable concepts, building from fundamentals to advanced ideas.
A typical lesson:
-Quick review of the previous lesson and any homework/questions.
-Clear explanation of the new topic with examples and visual support.
-Guided practice: we solve problems together, with me providing hints and feedback in real time.
-Independent practice: you work on similar problems while I observe and assist as needed.
-Summary of key takeaways and assignment of targeted homework to reinforce the material.
-Lessons are interactive, paced to your comfort level, and always end with time for your questions.
What sets me apart:
-Strong academic foundation from Trent University with up-to-date knowledge of university-level math and physics.
-Patient, encouraging, and non-judgmental approach – I create a supportive environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities.
-Ability to explain abstract or difficult concepts in simple, relatable terms.
-Focus on building long-term understanding and problem-solving skills rather than rote memorization.
-Flexible and responsive: I adjust my methods based on your feedback and progress.
Who my lessons are for:
- High school students (GCSE, A-Level, IB, or equivalent) preparing for exams.
- University/college students taking first- or second-year courses in calculus, linear algebra, mechanics, electromagnetism, thermodynamics, quantum physics, etc.
- Adult learners or mature students returning to education.
- Anyone struggling with specific topics or wanting to strengthen their foundation in math or physics.
- I offer lessons both online (via Zoom or similar) and in-person (depending on location), in English.
Whether you're aiming for top grades, preparing for university entrance exams, or simply want to gain confidence in these subjects, I'm here to help you reach your goals. Feel free to message me to discuss your needs – the first introductory chat is always free!

His way of teaching is unique and easily graspable. He can help solve any math equation because of his passion and interest in the field of mathematics. I personally have experience in learning with him and when he is teaching he ensures his student understands the concept and not only cram it for the sake of examination or grades. This is why learning with him is a great option.
