About Austin
I've worked and volunteered in education for over 5 years, mentoring students as young as 4 and as old as 50. I'm open-minded and care deeply about providing the most accurate and helpful services I can to my students.
I draw upon my passions for art, music and science in whatever subject I teach, striving to provide impactful analogies that will ensure concepts remain in my students' minds long after we've signed out of our sessions.

Hello!
I’m Austin. I enjoy finding ways to connect my understanding with that of others, and I hope you’re here for the same reason. Here’s a bit about me:
I graduated summa cum laude from Indiana University in 2019 with a BS in Biochemistry and a math minor. During my four years at IU, I tutored elementary school students in math, reading, and writing, and college students in chemistry and organic chemistry coursework. In the past three years I have tutored high school chemistry, middle school algebra I, and have proofread for college and medical school students. TLDR; I'm open to teaching lots of things to lots of people!
These days I spend most of my time painting and drawing.
What do I hope you’ll take from all this?
I have more than five years of experience tutoring students from elementary- to college-age in a number of subjects.
I love to learn, and hope to pass some of that interest to whomever I teach.
