About Ferdos
Passionate Physics Educator with a PhD from CERN: Sharing a Lifelong Love for Mathematics and Physics. Having dedicated a significant portion of my life to the world's largest and most intricate physics laboratory, CERN, I have not only acquired a PhD in physics but also cultivated a deep and abiding passion for mathematics and physics. My enthusiasm for teaching stems from this love for science, and I am eager to impart not only my knowledge but also my genuine affection for the intricacies of physics and mathematics. Having several years of teaching experience in high schools and universities, and by spending considerable time in a highly complex scientific environment, I bring a unique perspective to education. The exposure at CERN has not only honed my skills but has also given me a broad and holistic view, making me well-equipped to be an effective educator. I am excited about the prospect of sharing my knowledge, experience, and passion for science to inspire and empower the next generation of thinkers and innovators.

My teaching approach is centered on creating an engaging and practical learning environment. During our sessions, I adopt a patient and observant stance, allowing students the space to tackle problems independently. This approach is vital for fostering self-confidence and empowering students to overcome challenges on their own. Furthermore, I strive to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere. Recognizing and valuing the diverse talents of each student is integral to my teaching philosophy. I believe that every student brings a unique perspective to the learning process, and by acknowledging and celebrating these differences, I create an environment where all students feel valued and confident in their abilities.

I have had a few sessions with Ferdos, and so far she is really helpful and understanding when teaching the topics that are a bit difficult to grasp. She has helped me in tutoring Thermal Physics, Modern Physics, and currently she’s helping me with Optics and Magnetism. She has really helped me understand the concepts and helps build confidence for the skillsets needed in physics. So far she is an amazing teacher and can explain the concepts very well which have helped me pass my courses
